Hrothgrin
Species: Hrothgrin Range: Yuem Mountains Appearance: The Hrothgrin tends to favour furs and leathers. All members of their species regardless of gender grow beards. They can often be mistaken for Human. Ecology: The Hrothgrin reproduce like any mammal. They subsist on a omnivorous diet. They tend to live in small family units or large mining communities within the Yuem Mountains. The Hrothgrin place a great reverence in their lineage and believe their ancestors live on through them. The Hrothgrin tend to be Diurnal, though like most sapient species they can alter their activity cycle. Temperament: Various, though they tend to trust outsiders very little. Species: Elf Range: Yuem Mountains Appearance: Goblins are fans of bright colours, fancy cloths, and tend to wear ostentatious jewelry. They have pointed black tipped ears. Ecology: Goblins pride themselves as artists and tailors. They produce as other mammels do and subsist on an omnivorous diet. Their family life can vary, but they tend to live in small villages or cities along the southern border of Yuem. Goblins are primarily Diurnal. Temperament: Jealous, vicious, and vengeful are all words used to describe a goblin, though they can be kind if they want something. Ogres
Species: Ogre Range: Yuem Mountains Appearance: Ogres have broad, unproportioned overdeveloped shoulders. They tend to favour furs and leathers like many from Yuem. They also tend to wear trophies from kills garnered while protecting their quarries and goat herds. Ecology: Ogres reproduce like any mammals. They subsist on a primarily carnivorous diet and are known for their delicious cheeses. They tend to live in villages where the children are watched by the entire clan. The Ogre’s are expert herders and stonemasons able to lift and work with large blocks, they tend to build ziggurats throughout the Yuem mountains. They also have an honourable culture that tends to lend itself to wars between the clans. The Ogre is one of the most martial species of the realms second only to the Lago. Ogres are primarily Diurnal. Temperament: Quick to anger from insult as long as their customs are honoured (which vary by clan) they are amicable to deal with and friendly to outsiders. Species: Hylain Range: Primarily the Rasmyst Plains Appearance: Feathers around the ears, tail of a lion, and antlers on the head. Ecology: The Soaren reproduce like any mammal. They subsist on an omnivorous diet. They tend to live a solitary life until they find a mate, and tend to be monogamous in nature. They have a tradition in priestly magic and spend most of their life in study or service of the gods. The Soaren tend to be diurnal in their activity cycle.
